Zionist sources reported that the Zionist minister, Barak, holds secret contacts with Fayyad.

Salam Fayyad claimed that the discussion is aimed to remove a number of checkpoints between West Bank. The meeting was last week but till now nothing happened.

Fayyad added that the meetings is a step for an upcoming meeting between Barak and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

The Zionist sources in Jerusalem confirmed the meeting between Barak and Fayyad. Palestinian sources said the Zionist Shin Bet chief Yuval Diskin also joined the meeting.

Fayyad also asked for Zionist commitment to stop military operations in A and B zones in the West Bank, so that at least those areas could gradually return to their pre-Intifada status. He also promised to cooperate to stop any action to the resistance men.

The Zio-American prime minister (Fayyad) demanded that Palestinian security forces be allowed freedom of operation in those zones, and stressed that Zionist cooperation in this matter would boost his plan to dismantle the resistance in the West Bank.

Ezzedeen Al Qassam Brigades considered in its statement that Fayyad is a traitor to the Palestinian people and he must be present in court.

Also the brigades demanded the Palestinian people to refuse and expel the illegal government which formed by Dayton.
