ISREALI TROOPS OPEN FIRE AT PALESTINIAN CIVILIANS STRANDED ON A MILITARY CHECKPOINT IN NORTHERN W.B

Israeli forces stationed at Al Bathan checkpoint located at the northern entrance of the West Bank city of Nablus opened fire randomly at Palestinian civilians stranded at the checkpoint on Monday morning.

Witnesses reported that soldiers started to fire tier gas and live rounds at civilians stuck at the checkpoint, medical sources reported that several cases of sever gas inhalation was reported and that some cases had to be moved to nearby hospitals.

The Palestinian medical teems added that the gas that was fired at the people is a new kind that they did not see before, the tier gas today was so much powerful than what the Israeli army usually uses medics said.

Scores of students could not go to school and a lot of workers did not managed to get to their jobs in the city on Monday after the army attacked the residents at this checkpoint and closed it, local sources reported.
